Regelneef 20.3

Recording self-employed status

For an employee, it is now possible to indicate with a tick whether they are a self-employed person. A similar tick box has also been added to the placement screen.
When a self-employed person is placed, the ‘self-employed’ status will be carried over to the placement.

  • A ‘Self-employed’ column is now available in the employee overview and the planlists

  • The ‘Self-employed’ field can also be edited in batches using the ‘multi-edit’ function

Quickly create a self-employed person’s company as the subcontractor

The ‘Self-employed’ field is displayed next to the ‘subcontractor’ field. If someone is a self-employed person, their company must be recorded as the subcontractor, for example to record and verify their Chamber of Commerce details.

To make it easier to register a new self-employed person’s company as the subcontractor, a button has been added next to the ‘Subcontractor’ field for an employee. This displays the subcontractor input screen, which contains a number of details taken from the employee’s record. When this input screen is confirmed by clicking ‘OK’, this new subcontractor is immediately linked to the individual.

Distinction between wage and purchase rate

Where an employee is hired in from a subcontractor, or is self-employed, the ‘gross wage’ field effectively refers to the purchase rate.
From now on, Regelneef will also refer to this field correctly in the detail screen for an employee and a placement, depending on whether the employee is hired in.

Updating placements: hired in or not

When adding or editing one or more placements, an indication on the right now makes clear whether they are hired in. If all placements are hired in, Gross wage is labelled Purchase rate.

Support for tractor driving licences

Support for the letter ‘T’ has now been added to the various types of driving licence in Regelneef. This makes it possible to select this option in the Employee overview. Adjustments have also been made for this, for example, when importing data and in document layouts.

Checks when entering a weeksheet

When entering a weeksheet, a notification will now be displayed if any of the following apply:

  • ID document has expired

  • ID has not yet been verified

  • The subcontractor’s Chamber of Commerce extract is out of date

Opening tab screens from the employee or client view

The employee’s details screen opens as a standalone screen by default. If evaluations or weeksheets are launched from that screen, they are displayed behind it as tabs. This can be inconvenient when screen space is limited.

Therefore, it now works as follows: if there is a single monitor screen, the employee’s freestanding detail screen will first automatically move to the tabs before the requested screen is opened in a subsequent tab.
The same change has also been applied when opening placements or weeksheets from a client.

Client code can be locked on the login screen

If you do not want users to be able to change the client code on the login screen, you can now add the line ‘ClientcodeReadonly=YES’ to the regelneef.ini file.
The client code will then be displayed as read-only upon login.

Display of passport photo

You can now right-click on the passport photo, which reveals a new ‘Refresh’ option. Regelneef will then attempt to retrieve the image again based on the name.

Miscellaneous

  • When editing placements, it is now shown more clearly which columns will change: the column headers that are changing are also highlighted in blue.

  • A period selector has been added to the SMS archive.

  • In the employee planlist, there were a few columns that could not be sorted by clicking on them. This has been rectified.

  • The buttons on all screens are now protected against double-clicking where this is undesirable. This prevents actions from being carried out twice unintentionally when a button is pressed by double-clicking.

  • For sent SMS messages, the affiliate is now recorded again, for the purposes of SMS reporting by affiliate.
