Regelneef 21.4
Password management improvements
A user can now be required to change their password. After logging in to Regelneef (or the app), the user will see a screen prompting them to set a new password before they can proceed.
From now on, a user must choose a new password after logging in in the following cases:
It is the first time they are logging in to a new account;
It is the first time they have logged in after an administrator has reset their password;
An administrator has chosen to require all users to reset their passwords.
The latter option is a new feature available under Maintenance > Settings, on the Security tab: ‘Force password change for all users’.
In a user’s details screen (Maintenance – Users), a message appears indicating when that user will need to change their password.
Bank documents
It is now also possible to use the Regelneef archive’s linking system for bank-related documents relating to employees. A column has also been made available for this purpose in the Employee overview.
New statistics for hours and turnover
Under File->Statistics, four new categories have been added to the drop-down list:
Billable hours per client, per week
Invoiced hours per client, per week
Calculated turnover per client, per week
Invoiced turnover per client, per week
Alerts for specific types of absence
It is now possible to receive alerts in the ‘Alerts’ section when specific absences are due to start or end. If desired, this can be configured at the absence type level.
See the table ‘Employee’ > ‘Tables’ > ‘Absence Types’ for details. For an absence type, you can tick the box ‘Show absences in Alerts’.
Under Settings->Alerts->Periods, you can, as usual, further configure whether the notification should be automatic, and how many days in advance and in retrospect the system should check for the new types ‘Absence start’ and ‘Absence end’.
Number of planning days for an employee in a given week
In the employee planlist, it is now possible to display how many days the employee is on duty in the selected week. This number is equal to the number of distinct days on which an employee has a ‘P’ in the day planning across all their placements for that week. This number is always between 0 and 7.
Similar weekly information was previously available for the number of accommodation days for an employee. Via the list definition of the employee planlist, the following weekly counts are now available:
Number of accommodation days for an employee this week
Number of placement days for an employee this week
Employee planlist – Weeksheets tab: double-click
Double-clicking in this list will now always open the weeksheet.
More information about columns via list definition
Many screen lists are structured using a list definition, in which each column often has a more detailed name or description than is shown in the column header (particularly in the case of narrow columns). From now on, this description will also be displayed automatically when you hover the mouse over the column heading.
Export file to clipboard
In the screen for exporting an employee, a tick box has been added to indicate that the file should also be copied to the clipboard.
Exporting a file is a common task when data needs to be transferred to, for example, Freepack. If Freepack is hosted on an external server, Regelneef cannot write directly to it. Using this clipboard option makes it slightly easier to transfer the file.
