Employee change log
This new option in the Employee menu provides an overview of the recorded changes for all employees. By default, all changes from the past 7 days are displayed, but this period can be adjusted. Using the search bar and filter options, you can search for details within the results by column.
Freepack integration with Regelneef Transporter
Freepack’s integration options are based on importing and exporting files. This can be prone to errors, partly due to the various manual steps involved. This is certainly the case when using the online version of Freepack. The Regelneef Transporter has been designed to simplify these steps and thus make them less prone to errors.
It is now available in all Regelneef export and import screens that already supported Freepack. Please refer to the Regelneef Transporter documentation in the help system for details on how it works and how to start using it.
Freepack / client fields
The format for exporting clients to Freepack accounts receivable (menu 146) has been changed to format 5 (fixed layout / extra length).
If you use this option, it is important to set this up once in Freepack under the constants in the relevant menu.
It may be that, either intentionally or unintentionally, a setting was active in your database to reduce the width of certain client fields to ensure compatibility with Freepack. This setting is no longer in use, meaning, for example, that the maximum width of the client name has increased from 30 to 50.
Day planning
Backdated placement:
When entering a backdated placement, the day planning will now always be populated for all days between the start date and the current week.
Previously, Regelneef left the day planning for past weeks blank, which could sometimes be confusing.Visibility of working times and hours:
In addition to the familiar ‘P’, working times and scheduled hours can also be recorded in the day planning. These times and hours are not usually used, but this can be configured in the settings. However, when opening the day planning, the columns for times and hours were still displayed, even if this option was not enabled. The cause of this has been rectified.
As a result, opening the day planning will now more often present a cleaner view (showing only the ‘P’s).
Thousands separator when merging to Word
By default, amounts are formatted with two decimal places, using a comma as the decimal separator. For larger amounts, it may be preferable to have a full stop between the thousands. This is now possible.
The formatting in a layout can be displayed in Word using the Ctrl-F9 key, after which it can also be adjusted. For example, here is the default formatting, and below that a customised formatting for thousands.

Many internal improvements
The system’s source code has always supported the non-cloud version of Regelneef as well. This mix of old and new technologies created complexity. This has now been resolved by separating the code for the non-cloud version and ‘freezing’ it for occasional maintenance.
As a result, code not relevant to the cloud version could be tidied up and reorganised. Further development of Regelneef is therefore now entirely focused on the cloud version. This improves maintainability and supports further improvements in security, stability and performance.
Miscellaneous
When exporting employees, placements and weeksheets, the affiliate name is now also displayed in the action screen.
The process for sending signature requests has been internally modified to make it faster and to resolve occasional sending issues.
When using a large number of different certificates (hundreds), a limit was reached which could cause errors. The certificate system has now been rewritten internally to handle this correctly.
English version: in the detail screen for a user level, all program components are now displayed in English.
A ‘Employee Properties’ field has been added to various documents.
For financial documents, the client’s Chamber of Commerce number has been made available.
The FTP upload of requests has been revised in terms of functionality and settings (existing settings have already been migrated).
