Regelneef 24.1
Car damage
It is now possible to record damage to a car.
A new ‘Damage’ tab has been created for this purpose on the car’s details screen.
The following details can be recorded for a damage record:
Date of damage
Driver
Damage to
Description
Recoverable: yes/no
Date of repair
Documents (e.g. photographs)
Driver
To enter the driver’s details on the date of the damage, a button is available that fills this in automatically. If there were several drivers on the date of the damage, a selection menu will appear to choose the correct driver.
Documents
Multiple documents can be linked to each damage record. The number of documents is also visible in the list, and double-clicking on the number opens the list of damage documents immediately.
Current damage on handover forms
Damage merge codes are available for car-use documents. Include them in handover layouts to list unrepaired damage automatically: entries without a repair date.
Updated Regelneef App
Version 2 of the Regelneef app will be released shortly, featuring a completely new ‘look and feel’.
We have plans to add more features to the app over the coming year. To start with a fresh foundation, the app has been revamped and modernised over the last few months.
Version 2 is currently in the testing phase and is expected to be available in January 2024 via an update on the App Store and Play Store.
Would you like to try out version 2 in advance and give us your feedback? We’re still looking for testers, so please feel free to get in touch by emailing info@sunbase.nl.
Protection of GDPR-sensitive data
In the app (from version 2 onwards), certain employee details will no longer be displayed by default. This applies, for example, to passport numbers, Dutch citizen service numbers (BSN), etc.
This is controlled by a new setting under Maintenance->Settings->Security.
If you wish to override this setting, it must also be configured in the user-level permissions package for non-administrators.
Improvements to the English version
Lists
In screen and Excel lists, fields that previously displayed the Dutch values ‘ja’ or ‘nee’ in the English version are now also translated. This also applies to the terms ‘Driver’ and ‘Passenger’ and gender.
Documents
When merging documents, ‘yes/no’ fields – and, for example, the ‘gender’ field – can now be translated.
For documents, the language selected by the Regelneef user when logged in may not be the preferred language for the merged documents. This can now be configured centrally via Maintenance->Settings->Language. You can choose between Dutch, English or the language of the logged-in user.
Integration with i2o for BI dashboards
The company i2o develops Business Intelligence Dashboards for, amongst others, the flexible staffing sector. Such a dashboard combines data from various sources and provides insight into all manner of different aspects of the business.
To facilitate this, an API integration has been implemented so that data from Regelneef can fully automatically form the basis for such a dashboard.
See also the article by i2o on the collaboration between i2o and SunBase and the result achieved for one of our clients.
Miscellaneous
The ‘Merge documents into Excel’ feature can now also be used to automatically populate existing Excel documents with macros (.xlsm format).
