Regelneef 24.2
Log out of the current session
In the Regelneef Windows application, a user can only be logged in at one location at a time. If you have forgotten to close Regelneef and try to log in on another computer, you will only be able to do so once the active session has been closed.
Closing the active session can now be done automatically. If you log in whilst another session is still open, Regelneef will now prompt you to automatically close this old session the next time you attempt to log in.
This means it is no longer a problem to log in if you have forgotten to close Regelneef on another computer.
Regelneef API: Request list
This brand-new API enables you to connect to the relevant Regelneef database via external applications. The API can be activated on a module-by-module basis. At present, there is one module: the request list. This allows you to retrieve a list of current outstanding requests via a URL, for example to display job vacancies on a website.
This feature replaces the old system, which was based on automatically uploading an XML file containing requests via FTP.
Regelneef app: adding documents
Version 2.1 of the Regelneef app was recently released, which allows users to add photos or other documents to an archive. A button is available for this purpose in each archive, allowing users to choose from documents or the gallery. Once added, a document can also be renamed if desired.
Placement dates
To further support NEN audits, three date fields have been added to complement the existing tick boxes:
Order confirmation signed by the client on
Agreement signed by employee on
Initial check completed on
These date fields can also be added as columns to planlists and used in merged documents.
Weeksheet – display of absences
In the weeksheet, a red triangle now appears in the header next to the daily columns if there is an absence for the relevant day. Hovering the mouse over it displays detailed information about the absence.
‘Other planning’ date for accommodation, car and equipment planlists
An ‘Other planning’ date has been added to the selection fields for these planlists. By default, this is set to the current day. This date is used to display other planning data, such as placements, accommodation usage and car usage, in this planlist.
For example, in the accommodation planlist:
the dates under ‘Period’ determine which accommodation usage records are displayed in the planlist
the ‘Other planning’ date determines the other planning data (placements, absences, car usage) in the columns of this planlist.
Client contact – transferring a contact person
In a client contact, the ‘Copy’ button can be used to copy the correspondence contact person. It may, of course, be someone else who is already listed in the list of people.
From the field containing the contact person’s name, you can therefore now select from the contact persons associated with the relevant client.
Longer employee address
For employees, the address field has been expanded from 30 to a maximum of 60 characters. For example, the home addresses of people in Portugal can take up a great deal of space. From now on, such longer addresses can also be recorded correctly.
Scan distributor: copying files
Until now, the scan distributor has been designed to move files to the archive of an employee, client, etc. An additional ‘Copy’ button has now been added; this does not delete the source files but otherwise works in the same way.
This can be useful, for example, if a file needs to be sent to two archives: first copy the file to the first archive, then move the file to the second archive.
Regelneef downloads
An option called ‘Regelneef downloads’ has been added to the Maintenance menu. This opens a page with links to the Windows application setup and to the app stores for the Regelneef App.
A QR code is displayed for the app stores, so that the app can also be opened on a mobile phone using the camera.
Miscellaneous
In various countries, there are restrictions on SMS traffic sent via software (as is also possible with Regelneef). A solution is being rolled out to address this. This currently affects messages sent to Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Romania, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
As a result, for the countries mentioned, the sender specified in Regelneef is, in practice, overwritten with a generic name. It is therefore important to also include the sender’s name in the message itself. The Self-employed field (employee and placement) has been made available as a merge code in the various layout types.
At the client’s end, the Twitter field has been renamed to X.New fields/columns available:
Employee planlist: Absence start date, Absence end date
