Regelneef 26.3
English-language help system
The help system is now also available in English. If you use Regelneef in English, the English version will automatically be displayed when you open a help page.
The texts have been automatically translated from Dutch, with particular attention paid to Regelneef’s terminology. Some phrasing may not be entirely accurate. The help system is being expanded further, so that you will gradually find explanations for more features.
New API: more integration options
Regelneef has been expanded to include an external API. This enables other software to exchange data with Regelneef. This increases the possibilities for connecting Regelneef to systems within your organisation, automating tasks and minimising duplicate data entry.
Consider, for example, an integration that processes data from another system into Regelneef, or makes data from Regelneef available for further processing. Together with your software supplier or developer, you can explore which options are best suited to your organisation.
This extension is another step in Regelneef’s development, helping it fit your processes and work with other software.
You can find the settings under Maintenance->Settings->Integrations. Here, you can enable the API and manage API keys. You can share the technical API documentation with your software supplier or other parties wishing to create an integration with Regelneef.
The API is not yet complete, but already provides a useful basis for integrations with Regelneef. We are continuing to expand its capabilities, whilst also taking into account the needs that arise from practical use.
API keys
The new API comes with a new system for managing API keys. An API key grants a connection access to the Regelneef API. You can issue multiple keys, so that each connection uses its own key.
This helps you keep track of everything: what a key was issued for, who created it, and whether it is still in use. This makes it easier to understand and manage access for different integrations.
Is an integration no longer needed, or do you wish to revoke access? In that case, you can revoke the relevant key. Access via that key will be revoked, whilst other integrations can continue to use their own keys. This allows you to retain control over access to Regelneef.
Extra security with a digital signature
Both the Regelneef installation file and the software itself now feature a digital signature from SunBase Software. This signature serves as digital proof of origin: it enables Windows and security software to verify that the software actually originates from us and has not been altered since it was signed.
This provides extra security when installing and using Regelneef. It also helps Windows and security software to recognise Regelneef as trustworthy. You do not need to do anything yourself.
As usual, the installation file is available at sunbase.nl/downloads.
Business liability insurance for subcontractors
Subcontractor details can now include the insurer, selected from a table, and the business liability policy number. These fields are available as columns and in subcontractor documents.
Clearer structure within user levels
When setting permissions within a user level, the configurable elements are now sorted in a more logical order, based on their sequence within the Regelneef menu. This makes it easier to maintain an overview.
Miscellaneous
Employee indicator
For employees, current entries on tabs such as placements and accommodations are highlighted more subtly. This replaces the blue text colour, which did not always blend well with certain colour schemes.
The ‘Health Insurers’ table is now called ‘Insurers’
This table is now also used for other types of insurers, so the name has been made more general.
‘Contract active’ column for accommodation
This new column in the ‘Accommodation overview’ or the ‘Accommodation planlist’ indicates whether there is currently a rental contract in place.
