Day planner

Automatically translated from Dutch. Some wording may be inaccurate.

The day planner lets you specify the working days within a placement. You can also record working times and hours for each day. It is available as a tab in the placement details screen or as a separate screen in Day planning.

Information is displayed by week. Use the week selector to move between weeks. Use Show times and Show hours to show or hide these columns. The Refresh link updates the duplicate-planning and absence indicators. These are also updated automatically when you move between weeks.

Recording working days, times and hours

A working day (columns Monday through Sunday) is scheduled when it is blue. Double-click the cell or press the space bar to toggle between scheduled and not scheduled.

If the times column is visible, you can enter working times in HH:MM-HH:MM format. Entering a time automatically schedules the day if it was not already scheduled.

If the hours column is visible, you can enter the expected number of hours. Entering hours automatically schedules the day if it was not already scheduled.

Copying and pasting

You can copy data in the following ways:

Copy an entire week
Click Copy, use the week selector to go to another week, then click Paste. Scheduling, times and hours are copied for all placements and days.

Copy an entire day
Focus a day column in one of the placements and press Ctrl+C. Focus another day and press Ctrl+V. Scheduling, times and hours are copied for all placements for that day.

Copy individual working times
Focus a working-time cell and press Ctrl+C. Then press Ctrl+V in each cell that should receive that time. The corresponding day cell is automatically marked P if it was not already.

Copy individual hours
Focus an hours cell and press Ctrl+C. Then press Ctrl+V in each cell that should receive the same hours. The corresponding day cell is automatically marked P if it was not already.

Day base

The day basis helps you schedule regular days ahead within a placement. The column shows which weekdays are set for day planning. The boxes represent the weekdays: Monday to Friday on the top row, Saturday and Sunday on the bottom row. A dark box means the day is enabled in the day basis.

Double-click the cell to change the day basis. A separate screen lets you edit the default working days and, optionally, working times and hours. After saving, Regelneef asks whether to apply the day basis to the placement from the currently displayed week. If you agree, it fills in the current week and all following weeks up to the placement's end date, if any. For a new placement, this applies to the entire placement period.

Duplicate-planning and absence indicators

An orange corner at the top left: the employee already has another daily assignment on this date. Hover over the cell to display details of the other placement or placements.

A red corner at the bottom left: the employee has an absence on this date. Hover over the cell to display details of the absence.

A cross: the day falls outside the placement period.
