Manual and automatic alerts
Open the alerts list through File → Alerts or the corresponding toolbar button.
Automatic notification runs alerts when Regelneef starts. You can disable less important types so that only key alerts draw attention at startup. Configure automatic alerts in Settings.
Selection options
•Use Periods to view and change the number of days to look ahead or back for each type. Confirm with OK to refresh immediately. This lets you look further ahead for particular types.
These changes apply only to the currently open alerts screen. After closing it, the central settings apply again. Change them permanently under Maintenance → Settings.
•Clear Only check employees that have been active in the past month to include employees last placed more than a month ago or never placed. Include blocked employees using Include blocked employees.
•By default, alerts with status In progress are hidden. Clear Only open alerts to show them again.
•Use affiliate selection to filter by the affiliate linked to the employee, client, car or other record.
•Some of these selection options have central defaults in Settings.
Handling an alert
Double-click a row or use Status to open Edit alert status and change Outstanding to In progress. The fields Changed by and Changed on are filled in automatically.
For employee alerts, the link Enter contact and action for this employee lets you record follow-up details or actions.
Use Detail window to open the corresponding employee, client or other record.
SMS
For employee alerts, use SMS emp to open the SMS screen. Select multiple rows to message several employees at once.
